Continue reading »]]> PorcFest was epic! A week-long festival in the mountains of New Hampshire was a nice change of pace.
Highlights:
Threw an awesome dance party called Unce with some new friends.
Attended another dance party thrown by different organizers and had a blast dancing.
Ate lots of delicious food prepared by lots of amazing people!
Saw Gary Johnson, Adam Kokesh, Stefan Molyneux and a whole bunch of other big-wigs in the liberty movement.

Continue reading »]]> WOW I have been BUSY!

I traveled 4 days to arrive at the domes where I have been living ever since. My friend S came with me on the journey. This in itself is worthy of a lengthy retelling, which I shall do at a later date!

She since left and I have gotten to work on a number of projects:

• Fixing my stomach (so far, so good!)
• Working on our community website (it’s made progress, but I need to put up the image gallery. This is helping me brush up my joomla skills, and a little HTML.)
• Meeting people here, making friends
• Looking for work (On hold until stomach is good to go)
• Recording video regarding recent events (teaching myself video editing)
• Preparing the infrastructure to raise chickens, rabbits, possibly goats and llamas too (stuck in research phase)

As you can see, I’m busy as hell! I need to get around to writing up some stories, because I certainly have some good ones!

Continue reading »]]> This inspirational video reminds me of my travels in South-East Asia, but it also ties two of my interests: Seasteading and natural running. It’s awesome how these people live on a series of floating platforms in the water! And the bit about the kids being encumbered by traditional footwear is something I saw coming. They practiced in bare feet and that made them better players. It’s why I’ve taken to wearing Vibram FiveFingers shoes. Maybe one day I’ll be brave enough to go barefoot.

Continue reading »]]> I have a trip to New Hampshire planned for next Wednesday. I feel a mixture of excitement and frustration.
Plans are in place for 2 of the 4 days I’ll be gone. I’m not sure what will happen on the other days, but I hope to play it by ear and see what happens.

I’m a little upset with myself as I’ve been playing far too much WoW over the past 4 days. Not having a full-time job is causing me to become a recluse and stay home playing games when I could be out partying with friends. It’s not really a big deal as I know I will still get things done. But knowing that I haven’t made much progress toward my to-do list isn’t a good feeling. I think I need to knock out a few tasks and then I’ll feel much better.

This is the first big step though! A flight by myself to journey alone to an unknown location. It’s also my first time renting a car. Hopefully that goes well!
